Sri Lanka have already claimed their first ODI series win over Australia in 30 years, and will now be aiming to head into the upcoming Tests on a high note with a 4-1 victory. Join The Roar for live scores from 7pm AEST.
The Aussies have been hit hard on the injury front, with a number of first-choice names racing the clock to be fit for the first Test next week.
Mitchell Starc, Steve Smith, Marcus Stoinis and Ashton Agar have all been ruled out of the match, while Travis Head will also need to be replaced after suffering a hamstring strain. The blows have seen Glenn Maxwell called into the Test squad as injury cover, despite not having played a red-ball match in nearly three years.
Sri Lanka, meanwhile, are humming along, having claimed three consecutive ODI victories over Australia, the latest a thriller by just four runs.
Spin has proved a problem for Australia this series, with Wanindu Hasaranga, Dunith Wellalage and Dhananjaya de Silva all menacing a batting order in which only David Warner has been a regular source of runs.
