Cameron Bancroft tees off in brutal 151 not out
Cameron Bancroft hasn’t taken long to have an impact at Durham, with the Western Australian blasting a match-defining 151 not out in his side’s One Day Cup win over Northamptonshire.
Bancroft, in his first List A match for the club he will captain this season, set the game up after arriving at the crease with Durham languishing at 2 for 7.
The right-hander smashed 13 boundaries in his 130-ball innings, including five sixes to power Durham to an intimidating 5 for 342.
The innings is just the second century in a 50-over match of Bancroft’s career.
In reply, Northamptonshire were bowled out for 270.
