Kieron Pollard takes the mickey out of opponent's complaining to the umps

Sometimes, you’ve just got to tip your hat to your opposition.

Tensions were running a little high late in the Global T20 Canada eliminator with Winnipeg needing 60 runs from the last 25 balls against Toronto.

And Winnipeg captain Rayad Emrit wasn’t too thrilled when Kieron Pollard wasn’t penalised with a wide for delivering a second ball above the shoulder for the over.

Emrit made his feelings clear to the officials before Pollard attempted to make light of his fellow West Indian’s complaints, placing the umpire’s hat on his head in the middle of the argument.

Unfortunately the batsman didn’t appear to find the move too humourous, but he was the one who would have the last laugh in the end, as his Hawks would claim a two-run victory via the Duckworth-Lewis method.
