Marnus Labuschagne dismissed by 45-year-old trundler in county cricket

Darren Stevens just turned 45 and proved how much experience can count in the game of cricket.

Stevens did what few bowlers in international cricket have managed – dismissing Australia’s Marnus Labuschagne cheaply. It happened on the opening day of England’s County Cricket season with Labuschagne’s Glamorgan taking on Kent.

Kent was dismissed for just 138.

With Glamorgan pushing for a first innings lead, Stevens found a way through the Aussie’s defence.

Labuschagne was out for 11 and sent social media wild with some jokingly asking for Stevens to be included in England’s Ashes team.

Stevens has had a stellar first-class career with 554 wickets and more than 15,000 runs scored in 311 matches.
