One-in-a-million bat flip scenes before BBL Challenger wows the crowd

Once is unlikely… but TWICE in a row?

Yet that’s exactly what happened at the bat flip before the BBL Challenger final between the Perth Scorchers and the Brisbane Heat, with the bat landing on its side two throws in a row – much to everybody’s amusement.

Eventually, though, Heat captain Chris Lynn would win the toss and elect to bowl. It would prove to be the Heat’s only win for the night, though, the Scorchers recording a crushing 49-run win via DLS to progress to the BBL final against the Sydney Sixers.
