Pakistan coach Mickey Arthur roasts reporter over criticism of top-scorer in win
Top-scoring in a comfortable victory isn’t enough for some people, apparently!
Pakistan picked up the second win of their World Cup campaign, piling more pain on Faf du Plessis’ South African team who, with their fifth defeat, are officially unable to progress to the knock out stage.
But coach Mickey Arthur was left bemused after a reporter questioned the “stamina” of Haris Sohail, who upon returning to the team for the first time since their campaign opening loss to the West Indies, top scored in Pakistan’s innings with 89 runs from 59 balls.
Sohail was named the player of the match for helping Pakistan set a target of 309 for the Proteas, making the criticism even more bewildering for some.
