Paul Kelly's beautiful tribute song to Usman Khawaja
Paul Kelly – one of Australia’s most iconic singer/songwriters has posted a new song in tribute of Usman Khawaja after his twin tons at the SCG.
Kelly is an avid cricket fan and has mentioned the game in his songs including his famous tribute to Don Bradman.
Kelly posted that he had “…been in a cave of cricket these past few weeks. Somehow the ghost of Hank Williams snuck in there too,” he said.
“Though I suspect he would have been more inclined to baseball. Came blinking into the light with this. Usman, meet Hank. Hank, meet Usman.”
