Not the first time Warnie’s had a go at the big left-armer.

Ive always thought Saker is overrated as a bowling coach. If one is to be totally honest with Mitchell Starc, his game has not really evolved at all since the 2015 World Cup. If anything, it has gone slightly backwards.

Exactly. His front arm as well is all over the shop. So what exactly is Saker doing with him. He said in an interview he has been doing work with Saker on different things. Starc needs to go behind his back and get McGrath or Gillespie to help him out.

Hes lost that good consistent wrist position that enables him to consistently swing the ball into right handers. The pace still looks ok but as hes lost that ideal wrist position, his bowling arms gotten lower and hes lost abit of control and rhythm. He appears to need miles under his belt to hone that bowling rhythm. Maybe those so called experts who believe in rotation policies and bowling load conditioning have abit to answer for???

The selectors should seriously consider dropping Starc.

Agree, he seems flat and unfit. His batting also has potential, but he isn’t working hard enough

Bar the 1st test in South Africa earlier this year, Starcs form in 2018 has been average. He certainly isnt in good touch.

I agree with Warne. Starc has so much talent with ball and bat, but seems so lazy of late. He appears unfit or injured. He could be a really good bat. Has natural talent, a good eye. But doesn’t seem to give a damn
