It’s sure to be a spiteful day of intense rivalry at the Gfinity Elite Series, as Week 4 of Street Fighter V action gets underway from 4pm (AEDT).
Two crosstown rivalries and a cross-country duel headline the action, with the trash talk and mid-match banter set to reach dangerous new heights.
It will be the two Victorian sides kicking things off, as Melbourne Avant tackle Melbourne Order in the match of the round.
Order, last year’s champions, and Avant, last year’s top seed, are yet to drop a match this season – making this clash an absolute must-watch.
Next up, it’s a huge danger game for Perth Ground Zero, as come up against the winless Brisbane Deceptors.
Perth need a win here to avoid falling away from the playoff pack, but they face a tricky task against a winless Deceptors team who got the better of them last season.
The day – and the whole Gfinity weekend – then conclude at 6pm as the Sydney Chiefs square off against the Sydney Roar.
Sydney Roar have lost their first three matches of the season once again, but they’d love nothing more than to trip up their heavily-favoured rivals.
