This is it, ladies and gentlemen. The round robin stage of Gfinity’s CS:GO season comes to a close at the Hoyts Gfinity Esports Arena this afternoon.

There’s still everything to play for too, with one of the four finals spots still up for grabs as well as the coveted first-place finish in what shapes to be a thrilling Week 5.

It will be the two newer kids on the block squaring up first, as the Brisbane Deceptors take on the Sydney Roar.

Brisbane have been desperately unlucky to fall to 0-4 and be ruled out of finals contention, but they can still play spoilers to the Sydneysiders. If the Roar want to play another week, they need to win here and hope their crosstown rival Chiefs succumb to Melbourne Order.

Next up is a top-of-the-table clash between Perth Ground Zero and Melbourne Avant.

For Perth, it’s simple – win and they finish atop the standings. Avant need an Order win the day’s last match, as well as a victory of their own, if they’re to finish Season 2 as top dogs.

The season then concludes with a traditional rivalry, as the Sydney Chiefs tackle Melbourne Order.

This match may not have the same allure a grand final rematch normally would, but Order would love nothing more to send the Chiefs packing if results elsewhere give them the opportunity to do so.
