Finals spots, semi-final seeding and a whole lot of pride are on the line as we enter the final week of leagueplay in the Gfinity Elite Series Rocket League tournament.
It’s a mouthwatering top-of-the-table clash to kick things off, as guaranteed finalists Brisbane Deceptors and Sydney Roar clash.
Both teams have enjoyed stunning turnarounds after failing to qualify for last season’s semis. New favourites Roar can secure top spot with a win, whereas the Deceptors would need a win and other results to take the first seed.
Next up is an intriguing clash between Perth Ground Zero and Melbourne Avant.
Ground Zero, who’ve struggled with inconsistency, need a win and an Order loss to secure their ticket to the semi-finals, but would fancy themselves against a winless Avant team.
It will be the Sydney Chiefs taking on reigning premiers Melbourne Order in the final match of the day.
The Chiefs are safe as houses, but Order could incredibly miss the playoffs despite taking out last season’s championship if they lose and Perth get up in the previous game.
