Jamie Whincup crashes out of Bathurst with unforced error
He’s usually one of the most reliable V8 drivers but even Jamie Whincup makes mistakes when it comes to Mount Panorama.
Whincup’s 888 entry for Red Bull Holden Racing started in 9th place and the team had made up a couple of places to be in 5th after 32 laps. Whincup’s co-driver Craig Lowndes put on a brave face for the cameras but the moment was a frustrating end for such an experienced team.
