Lewis Hamilton thinks there's a conspiracy against him after Russian GP penalty

Lewis Hamilton’s quest to equal Michael Schumacher’s 91 Formula 1 race wins had to wait after Hamilton was penalised with two five second penalties for illegal starts on track before the race.

Hamilton claims he’s practiced his starts like he did in Russia numerous times without penalty and said that he had never seen anyone pinged with two penalties for an incident like it before.

Despite the massive 10-second penalty, the British driver still managed to finish on the podium but he couldn’t hide his disgust both in the cockpit and at a post-race interview.

“They’re trying to stop me (from winning)”, Hamilton said.
