The 16th Summer Paralympic Games commence on August 24 with the Opening ceremony in Tokyo and conclude on September 5.

Just like the Olympic Games, the Seven Network is the official broadcaster and therefore has exclusive rights to show all the action on television and online streaming.

How to watch the Paralympics on TV
The Paralympic Games will be shown in Australia across the Seven Network. The main channel (70 in metro areas) will broadcast the opening ceremony live and will carry a four-hour broadcast between 12pm and 4pm AEST on weekdays. Outside of that, the Paralympics can be seen on the 7Mate channel (73 in metro areas) including 10am-12pm on weekdays and each night of the Games.

It’s expected that 7TWO (72 in metro areas) will also be broadcasting on weekends when Seven Network has to also juggle its AFL Finals and horse racing commitments.

How to live stream the Paralympics
The best way to watch the Paralympics is through live streaming as you’ll be able to watch exactly what you’re interested in with every single event live. The live streaming option also means that you’re not relying on what Channel Seven will show on their broadcast channels.

Just like the Olympics the free 7plus app will have every single sport available to watch live.
The app sorts the events by what’s on now and what is coming up to be able to plan your day of viewing.
