New Zealander The Chosen One cannot be excluded, nor can British entrant Mustajeer who comes straight off the back of an impressive win in the UK and Japanese runner Mer de Glace could be the biggest danger of all.
It all adds up to a wide-open race and very juicy odds on runners that bring pedigree from all over the world. A wonderful Caufield Cup story will be told this afternoon, predicting it is nigh on impossible.
