Winx storms home in the George Main Stakes to claim 27th consecutive win
Exceptional mare Winx has won her 27th consecutive race in the George Main Stakes at Randwick Racecourse on Saturday.
Winx and jockey Hugh Bowman came into the race as clear favourites, and despite a ‘nervous moment’ as they neared the finish, they ultimately pulled ahead to win comfortably.
The record-breaker now finds herself in a strong position as she looks to claim her fourth Cox Plate.
