The Brisbane Broncos have all but secured their spot in the NRLW grand final, but will want another win to confirm it when they play the New Zealand Warriors during the final round in Melbourne. Join The Roar for live scores and coverage from 5:15pm (AEST).

Having won both of their games so far, the Broncos would need a disaster to miss out on the decider.

With two wins and a for and against of 36, the Warriors would need a 40-point turnaround in this match to overtake them, while the Dragons, who play the Roosters tomorrow night, would need to claw back 48.

That being said, if the Warriors win this, things will get interesting, with the Dragons then needing to belt the Roosters by eight more points than the Warriors win tonight.

Should the Warriors lose, the Broncos will confirm their spot in the decider, with the Dragons then controlling their own fate. The Roosters can also still make the grand final with a win tomorrow and enough of a for and against turnaround to jump both the Warriors and Dragons.

Regardless, Brisbane look to be the team to beat and will go in as heavy favourites.

Their creative combination of Ali Brigginshaw, Chelsea Baker, Kimiora Nati and Brittany Breayley have all been fantastic so far in victories over the Dragons and Roosters.

While the points didn’t flow quite as well last weekend, it was their defence which rose to the fore and made life incredibly difficult from the start to finish for the Roosters.

They fully deserved their win and should book a spot in the grand final one way or another, because it’s hard to see them getting beaten by 20 or more if they were to lose.

The Warriors started their season off with a bang, getting past the Roosters in an unexpected win. Their big strength so far has been defence, with a forward pack capable of defending solidly.

The problem is, if they don’t start well and have a lead to defend, the Warriors have tended to fatigue early in games – certainly more quickly than the other teams in the competition.

With the Broncos putting in two complete performances so far, the second half of this one could be a freight train if the Auckland-based club aren’t playing with a lead.

Apii Nicholls and Laura Mariu have been the keys to their side so far and will need huge games here if they are to go on with it.

Prediction
The Broncos are favourites and undefeated for a reason. They will win and win well, skipping away during the second half from a fatiguing Warriors side.

Broncos by 14.

So, with that one going the way of the Broncos, they are into the grand final. The Warriors are out as well. The winner of the Dragons and Roosters tomorrow will face Brisbane.

FULLTIME This will be the final set of the game. The Broncos bring it forward and back inside 30 through Baker just 15 seconds from time. Final play of the game now and it's Fotu-Noala who runs through the line off a short ball, but that will be the end of that. The Broncos are into the grand final after a huge victory over the Warriors, seeing them rack up six tries. Broncos 32 Warriors 10

59' - The Warriors with a scrum here. Nicholls brings it away, links with Veainu and she has stayed down with a knee injury. Trainer out there, but it looks as if she will be okay to continue. Broncos 32 Warriors 10

58' - Apologies for the lack of updates. This game is winding down though, you haven't missed a great deal. Broncos with an eye on next week and the Warriors know it's done and dusted. Broncos 32 Warriors 10

52'- Brisbane start this set off the penalty about 15 out from their own line. It's Ballinger with the first, then they spread left to Robinson who was almost through the line. Up to halfway goes Peters, before Arakua cuts back on an angle but can't get through. Peters kicks on the last and Veainu takes it over here head and running backwards. Broncos 32 Warriors 10

Thank God for that. They have consistently called that obstruction as it should be.

51' - The Warriors finally with some possession in a decent spot. Clark and Smalley push forward on the first two plays, then it's left to Pitman who offloads to Nicholls, then Veainu is tackled cutting in from the wing. Nicholls bring it out of dummy half on the last and she is over, but the bunker will be called in. One of the decoy runners has stopped in the line. This is a penalty for Brisbane. 49' - New Zealand over halfway here, but they are struggling to get anywhere near being able to attack - well, until that! The bomb on the last, it goes straight through the arms of House and the Warriors take tackle zero 15 out. Broncos 32 Warriors 10

48' - The Broncos bring it back from the restart through Hancock with a strong run, then it's Peters to Ballinger, before Fotu-Moala brings it to halfway. Arakua has been strong today and she clears halfway on the fourth, before Ballinger has another carry. Final play now and it's Nati with a bomb, picked up by Veainu who grabs a penalty. 45' - The Broncos off the scrum and they have gone straight down the sideline, with Te Kawa eventually tackled just inside the sideline. Back to the middle, then it's Baker who was okay to continue finding Pilley who is tackled. Back to the middle and Peters is tackled. Final play now and they go short side before a grubber goes through, forcing a dropout. Broncos 28 Warriors 10
