The NRL continues tonight with the rescheduled clash between the Canterbury Bulldogs and Sydney Roosters, coming to you from Bankwest Stadium. Join The Roar for live scores and a blog of the match, starting from 7:00pm AEST.

The NRL postponed this match by 24 hours due to a biosecurity risk – one of Bulldogs forward Aiden Tolman’s children attends a Sydney public school that will remain closed until June 25 after a teacher returned a positive COVID-19 test.

Back to the footy, and Dean Pay will be feeling slightly better this week after his Bulldogs team got off the mark last round with a win against the struggling Dragons.

Kieran Foran had an immediate impact on the side, who recovered from a slow start to dominate St George Illawarra. It was nothing fancy – just completing sets and waiting for opportunities, and it worked.

Christian Crichton comes in for Kerrod Holland, while Morgan Harper replaces the suspended Reimis Smith.

While much has been made of the Broncos since last week’s belting, there has been much less coverage of just how good the Roosters were.

They were relentless, with the power game through the forwards eventually shooting holes in the Broncos. Luke Keary, Kyle Flanagan and Victor Radley were all good enough to take full advantage.

To make things harder for the Bulldogs, James Tedesco returns at fullback, with Ryan Hall out of the 17.

Prediction
The Roosters would have sent a few shock waves through opposition teams last weekend, announcing that they are well in contention again.

The Bulldogs may have turned the corner and will look to minimise their errors once more.

However, that won’t be enough this time and I expect the Roosters to get home comfortably.

Sydney Roosters by 16.
