2021 comes to an end for the Wests Tigers and Canterbury Bulldogs as they clash with pride on the line in Redcliffe. Follow along with the final game of the home-and-away season here on The Roar with live scores from 4:05pm (AEST).

For the ninth season in a row, the Tigers will only be spectators in the finals, after yet another disappointing year under Michael Maguire. There have been moments, including an upset win over the Origin-affected Panthers, but it has by and large been a season of treading water. At least they won’t finish ninth, with 11th the highest they can reach with a win here.

As for the Bulldogs, they will hope 2021 was rock bottom, with just two wins and a series of off-field issues plaguing the club throughout. Coach Trent Barrett has his work cut out for him to turn this ship around – a last-round win here would at least give fans something to be hopeful about heading into an important off-season.

The Tigers farewell former captain Moses Mbye as he heads to the Dragons for 2022, should he pass a concussion test; while Alex Seyfarth is sidelined. At the Dogs, Jake Averillo is a chance to return from a foot injury, while Corey Waddell is back from suspension and replacing Matt Dorey in the second row.
