2018 NRL Grand Final highlights: Sydney Roosters dominate the Melbourne Storm

The Sydney Roosters have claimed their first flag in five years, defeating the Melbourne Storm in a truly destructive display in the 2018 NRL Grand Final at ANZ stadium.

The Roosters were clucking from the start with Daniel Tupou getting on the end of a superb pass from Luke Keary, and Latrell Mitchell bulldozing his way around Will Chambers for the opening two tries.

Melbourne’s first half woes only seemed to worsen, with star five-eighth Cameron Munster sent to the bin for a professional foul on Jake Friend.

The Sydneysiders would capitalise on their 12-man opposition as before the break, young gun Joseph Manu piled on the Roosters’ third try.

Wrestling back some of the momentum in the second half, the Melbourne Storm hit back with Josh Addo-Carr intercepting for a breakaway try.

Yet the Roosters defence refused to relent, and Sydney came away with a famous, 21-6 victory.
