Andrew Fifita and Viliame Kikau set for bans over shoulder charges

The Cronulla Sharks and the Penrith Panthers have both been dealt blows after their Round 18 Friday Night matches.

While the Panthers emerged as comfortable victors over the St George-Illawarra Dragons to snatch their seventh consecutive win, they could be without Viliame Kikau for their upcoming clash with the Canberra Raiders.

The 24-year-old was reported during the second half and has been hit with a two-match ban for his shoulder charge on Darren Nicholls, which can be reduced to one game with an early plea.

Meanwhile, Cronulla’s Andrew Fifita, who was recently suspended for three matches after a crusher tackle on Ryan Sutton, is once again in hot water.

The Sharks forward has also copped a two-game ban which can be brought down to one with an early plea after he was reported for a shoulder charge on Lachlan Burr during his side’s loss to the Warriors.
