Josh Dugan sent off for throwing a punch in bush footy

The former NRL player sparked a scuffle in the final seconds of his team, Orange United Warriors’ 26-16 win over Trundle Boomers – and could pick up a suspension during the finals.

It's clear Dugan is goading them by running along the deadball line instead of just running straight out. Not what a good winner should do. Then it seems he throws the ball at them, and throws the first punch. The general view is Josh is a nice guy outside the game, but he has always had that ego niggle in him.

He lives & works in Orange and as he said to me after two shoulder re-constructions this is nowhere near as tough as the NRL

for someone who claimed he no longer liked rugby league it seems strange he's doing this for $50 a week instead of $500k a year...
