Son of a gun Tristan Sailor's absolutely epic length of the field try

The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree!

Tristan Sailor has produced an epic length of the field try for the Dragons in NSW’s Canterbury Cup competition.

The son of former League and Union star Wendell, 21-year-old Tristan recovered a kick from Wests Magpies halfback Jack Madden and proceeded to race around and through the defence to score a stunner in the 59th minute of the match.

A try from teammate Shaun Sauni-Esau ten minutes later and a third conversion from Sailor would see the Dragons secure a 24-24 draw.

Sailor is contracted to the Dragons until the end of this season.

And will the Dragons keep him?? Garrick and Herbert running around doing well for other clubs, Robson on the way out .. doesn't look well for Dragons keeping their young stars.
