Ugly scenes in local footy match after coat hanger is followed by king hit

Things got heated in Group Nine rugby league in Wagga Wagga between the Wagga Kangaroos and Temora Dragons.

It all started when Kangaroos halfback Zach Graham was left concussed after a swinging arm tackle.

It resulted in retaliation from some players with the centre for the Wagga side spotted throwing several punches.

Temora prop Paul Ferguson reportedly suffered a broken cheekbone and the Number 4 for the Wagga team was given 10 in the sin bin for taking matters into his own hands.

The Wagga Kangaroos ended up winning the game 38-22 but the local judiciary is likely to have a busy time this week going through the vision.
