WATCH: Matt Moylan lifts the lid on his pre-match temperature check scare

The Sharks’ Saturday night clash with the Cowboys became the first match since the NRL’s restart to be put in jeopardy, after news broke that six players had failed their mandatory pre-match temperature checks.

The players, including Matt Moylan, recorded temperatures above the maximum 37.2 degree limit, meaning they needed to be re-tested to be officially cleared to play.

Thankfully, all players passed the second time around: and Fox League’s Michael Ennis had a cheeky suggestion for what had caused the scare.
