The ACT Brumbies are looking to break their Super Rugby Trans-Tasman duck when they host the Hurricanes at GIO Stadium. Follow along with Saturday night rugby with live scores on The Roar from 7:45pm (AEST).

The Brumbies’ defence has so far struggled to cope with the three New Zealand side’s they’ve played, conceding over 30 points in each of their three games.

Following a gutsy performance in defeat to the Crusaders in Round 1, Dan McKellar’s team has been disappointing, soundly beaten by the Blues and the Chiefs. However, this will be their first match at home for the tournament – perhaps a return to familiar surroundings can prompt a spark in form.

The Hurricanes remain undefeated in Super Rugby Trans-Tasman following three impressive wins, but facing the Brumbies and the Reds, arguably the two best Australian sides, in their final two matches will be a challenge. That the Crusaders failed to secure a bonus point against the Force yesterday, though, works in their favour to grab one of the two spots in the tournament final.

There is a fair list of ins for the New Zealanders for their trip across the Tasman: coach Jason Holland has named captain Ardie Savea in the starting team after returning on the bench last week, while Julian Savea and Dane Coles are also back from being rested against the Force.
