Super Rugby Pacific round 11 wraps up with one of the clashes of the weekend as the Brumbies welcome the Hurricanes to GIO Stadium, Canberra. Join The Roar for live scores from 2:00pm AEST.

This is an intriguing game and a great way to wrap up the weekend and there are mouth watering clashes all over the park to enjoy.

The Canes have given a starting spot to super sub Jackson Garden-Bachop, who will partner with TJ Perenara. On the other side will be Nic White and Noah Lolesio. TJ v White is going to be a fantastic battle to keep an eye on.

The Canes are missing a few players in the forwards but have been able to keep Aardie Savea fit and firing and the number eight’s work in both attack and defence is going to be a big factor as to whether the Canes can get a rare victory in Canberra. He’ll be going up against an impressive back row from the home side with Rob Valetini, Jahrome Brown and Pete Samu creating a powerful and well balanced unit.

In the centres there is another exciting match up with the Kiwi pair of Peter Umaga-Jensen, Bailyn Sullivan going head to head with Wallabies Irae Simone and Len Ikitau.

Up front it’ll be a special day for Canes prop Tyrel Lomax as he plays at the same ground where his dad became a club legend for NRL side the Canberra Raiders. Having picked up two tries last week against the Reds, much is expected of Lomax both at the set piece and in the loose.

The Brumbies will want to do what they did to the Highlanders last week and put them away early with an intense opening quarter. The Canes will know that they can’t let the Brumbies get away to the same fast start. They managed to chase down the Reds last week but as Canes coach Jason Holland explained this week, “The Brumbies are a step up from the Reds in our eyes,’’ and so the Kiwi side must be focused and better.
