It could be all one-way traffic when the Bulls host the Chiefs in Round 6 of the Super Rugby season. Join The Roar for live scores of the match from 12:05am (AEDT).

The Bulls have gotten their season off to a splendid start, winning three of their first four, including victories over the Lions and Sharks in their last two starts.

The victory over two-time runners-up the Lions was particularly impressive, while their only loss came in their only trip outside of South Africa so far, when they fell to the Jaguares in Argentina.

Their forwards left a little to be desired on that occasion, but other than the one-off crash, but they have been very solid across the park, and are resembling a team who are going to give the finals a red-hot shake in a couple of months time.

Of particular note has been their defence, and while it wasn’t great against the Jaguares, the South African conference leaders have only let in 29 points throughout their trio of victories.

Their attack has also been strong, and the three victories have had an average margin of almost 30 points, so it has been complete domination on their part.

The Chiefs, on the other hand, have been one of the most disappointing teams so far this season, and that horrendous run was capped off in appalling fashion when they lost at home to the Sunwolves.

That beat-down at the hand of the struggling Japanese franchise was followed up by allowing 57 points to be scored against them by the Crusaders.

They were marginally better against the Hurricanes, managing to eke out a draw, but they now embark on a two-week road trip still searching for their first victory of the season, and with the finals already seemingly slipping away.

Prediction
The Bulls have been pretty solid so far this season. On the other hand, the Chiefs have not. This game being played in South Africa, it looks like the match should go in one direction and one direction only. The hosts should win, and win heavily.

Bulls by 25.
