Super Rugby Pacific round 12 continues with Moana Pasifika going up against the NSW Waratahs at Mount Smart Stadium, Auckland as the Tahs look to build on their impressive victory last week over the Crusaders. Join The Roar for live scores from 2:35pm AEST.

Having beaten the Crusaders last week, the Tahs have really made some waves. With the Reds losing on Friday night again the NSW side have found themselves in a position where they can take fifth place with a win today.

With this in mind, Tahs head coach Darren Coleman will be a little bit frustrated that he can’t call upon some of his best players to help ensure his side of an important win. Harry Johnson-Holmes is out with a knee injury and Michael Hooper is out of contention with a concussion.

However, key players such as Charlie Gamble, Angus Bell, Jake Gordon and centre pairing Lalakai Foketi and Izaia Perese are all starting and will look to put Moana Pasifika away before they can gain any sort of momentum.

Looking to take advantage of the absence of Johnson-Holmes and a potentially weakened Waratahs scrum is exciting young prop Abraham Pole who will start for the Moana Pasifika.

Far away from the brutal battle that will be played out at scrum time, winger Timoci Tavatavanawai is also going to be a potential game breaker for Moana Pasifika. He gains impressive post contact metres and if he comes looking for work then the Tahs defence could be in for a bruising night.
