The Springboks host the All Blacks for the second Test as part of the Rugby Championship. Join The Roar for live scores from 1:05am.
It seems so bizarre to see a New Zealand men’s rugby team as rank outsiders to win a Test but that’s the state of play at the moment and you get the sense that reputations and careers are on the line.
New Zealand scored their one and only try in the 77th minute.
The scary part is the All Blacks had plenty of the ball but seem to be lost in attack.
They also gave away 12 penalties to 7 and the ill-discipline is costing them dearly.
South Africa seemed to relish the chance to pile on the pain for New Zealand in front of their home fans. Expect another packed crowd in Johannesburg for a crucial encounter for so many reasons.
A win by the home side and they’ll be clear favourites to win the Rugby Championship. Another loss for New Zealand and the calls to sack Ian Foster will grow louder.
