Former England rugby wing Christian Wade bosses another NFL defence

Having scored with his first touch in a professional game in the Buffalo Bills pre-season clash against the Indianapolis Colts, former England wing Christian Wade showed his stunning effort was no fluke against the Caronlina Panthers.

Wade was one of the surprise packages of Bufallo’s opening pre-season match, with his 65-yards from just one carry almost doubling the Bills’ next best for rushing yards.

However, while Wade couldn’t quite replicate his rushing efforts against the Panthers, running for just four yards from two carries, it was his receiving game that shone.

After catching a pass from Tyree Jackson near the 50-yard line in the fourth quarter, Wade proceeded to break a number of tackles before being brought down just two yards out.

The lone 48-yard reception would see Wade finish with the most receiving yards of any player for the match.

The Bills would claim a second-straight win, downing the Panthers 27-14.
