The moment that has Tolu Latu in strife
Waratahs hooker Tolu Latu has been cited by SANZAAR for alleged foul play as he went into the ruck late in NSW’s win over the Sunwolves, in an incident that saw Ed Quirk stretchered from the ground.
The 26-year-old is accused of infringing upon law 9.20, which says players must not “charge” into a ruck or maul.
“Charging includes any contact made without binding onto another player in the ruck or maul,” the law states. “A player must not intentionally collapse a ruck or a maul.”
