'We need to become global': Steve Hansen takes one last shot at Six Nations sides
Steve Hansen has issued a warning to the northern hemisphere sides after coaching his final game for the All Blacks.
New Zealand secured third-place with a dominant performance against Wales to bounce back from their disappointing semi-final defeat at the hands of England.
When asked for his opinion on the All Blacks future hopes as rugby moves more towards the north, Hansen argued it wasn’t anything new.
The 2015 World Cup-winning coach told reporters the game must become “global” and countries have to start thinking about more than themselves.
Earlier this year, the Six Nations shot down a proposed yearly world competition idea.
Hansen retires from the All Blacks senior coach role with a win percentage of 87.
