Neither Brisbane Roar nor Adelaide United have tasted victory thus far this A-League men’s season and the pressure will be on to reverse that statistic when the two sides meet at Moreton Daily Stadium in Redcliffe. Join The Roar for live scores from 5:05pm AEDT.

After two draws, Adelaide hit the road north in an attempt to open their win account for the season, after two draws that saw them produce some quality football.

Far from embarrassed in a gutsy second half comeback against Melbourne City last week, the Reds showed enough to potentially head into this match as favourites, against a Brisbane team that were second best against the Victory in Melbourne.

Most concerning for the Roar were the defensive lapses they suffered and the ease with which Tony Popovic’s team sliced them open at the back on numerous occasions. However, goals have also been hard to come by and Warren Moon needs a win to inject some confidence into the squad after a disappointing start to the season. However this does play out, there will a sense of ‘must win’ for both teams, with three incredibly valuable points on the line. The loser could potentially sit at the foot of the ladder after three rounds of play.
