Mark Bosnich apologises after live TV f-bomb
Former Socceroo and current Fox Sports pundit Mark Bosnich has apologised following an on-air gaffe in the build-up to the Melbourne derby.
Bosnich, thinking he was no longer on-air, was overhead dropping an f-bomb seemingly due to a mix-up earlier in the broadcast.
The EPL-title winner had been discussing his belief that Melbourne City would need to attack the pockets of the pitch, and had planned to use selected clips from the team’s loss to the Newcastle Jets last round.
However for whatever reason, the footage was unavailable.
When the broadcast switched to sideline reporter Michael Zappone, though not on camera Bosnich could be heard asking, “What the f— happened?” before his microphone was cut off.
Soon after Bosnich took to twitter to apologise, assuring fans it would never happen again.
