After a solid win against Sofia Kennin on the opening day, Ashleigh Barty will look to put the Australian team into a commanding position early on the final day.
She will face the big hitting and often wild Madison Keys in a match that sets up an interesting clash of styles and temperaments.
Keys was far too good for Kimberly Birrell on the opening day and her easy power proved difficult to combat for the young Australia.
However, today is a new challenge for the American, with the passion, variety and powerful serving of the Australian sure to test her.
Barty will look to lengthen points and keep Keys wailing away from the back of the court, knowing that the American would prefer short points and a match played on her terms.
That will be the crux of the match, with Barty looking to use the slice and control and construct points off the back of a low number on unforced errors.
Whichever way it goes, the winner of this match will have set their nation well on the way to overall victory in this Federation Cup tie.
Prediction
Home soil and fervent fans should get Keys home in this one. Barty has the game but the contest will really be played on Keys racquet.
Too many unforced errors and Barty will win. If she is able to limit errors, the American might just have a little too much power and experience.
