Dylan Alcott has become the first Wimbledon quad wheelchair singles champion, winning the maiden final in straight sets.
The 28-year-old defeated Andy Lapthorne 6-0, 6-2 to claim his ninth Grand Slam title.
He now holds all quad wheelchair singles titles at once.
Just a day ago, the pair had been victorious together, overcoming Koji Sugeno and David Wagner to cement themselves as the first Wimbledon quad doubles champions.
Not content with his singles performance alone, Alcott remained in fine form after it too.
The experienced media performer delivered one of the better title-winning speeches on the court, revealing that when it was first announced Wimbledon would finally host a quad wheelchair event, he had told Lapthorne he wanted the final to be contested between the two of them.
