The Armchair Sports Writer Award: the week 7 finalists are ...

By The Crowd / Roar Guru

Congratulations to Rory O’Donovan who scooped the pool with 83 percent of the vote for his article What Next For Federer? A Coach Would Help in last week’s voting for The Roar’s Armchair Sports Writer Award. We have three new articles to be voted on this week.

It’s all part of our quest to find the best ‘undiscovered’ sports writer in Australia and turn them into a paid columnist on the site.

The three finalists this week are:

* True grit from the Wallabies by LeftArmSpinner
* Will South Africa be ready for 2010? by Mohammed Patel
* Hand over the money, or the game gets it by spud murphy

You get one vote each week, so please use it to show your support for our talented reader-contributors

If you think you have what it takes to become a paid sports columnist, or you’ve spotted an inspiring sports article by an undiscovered sports writer, then we want to know about it.
