those were the ones that stuck out. The Force played well but I don't recall any real standouts. Patty Dellitt did OK which was good to see. It was a long, long weekend...

REDS Daley 7.5 Fainga 7.5 Sheperdson 7.5 Simmons 8 Horwill 9 Samo 7 Robinson 3 Higginbotham 1 Genia 9 Cooper 3.5 Ioane 7.5 Harris 7.5 A. Fainga 7.5 Morahan 7.5 Lucas 3.5 Hanson 9 Holmes 8 Wallace- Harrison 8 Houston 7.5 WARATAHS Robinson 8 T P Nau 3.5 Kepu 3.5 Mumm 1 Timani 2 Mowen 7.5 Waugh 3.5 Palu 3.5 Burgess 7.5 Beale 8 Mitchell 7.5 Carter 7.5 Cross 1 Kingston Baxter 1 Halanghu 3.5 Cooper earn' t 9 for his try, less 6 for failing repeatedly to hang on to the ball, gifting possession mostly to the ever capable Beale, or repeatedly kicking out on the full, elementary stuff, losing valuable possession. Mackenzie must hand the goal & penalty kicks to Harris, if not the line kicks. Bravo for giving Quade full rein, but its time to take control. Quade managed .5 for his flip that he got carried away with. Unless he keeps his promise to put it on the back burner. No doubt Cooper had his mind on a couple of seasons with Circus O'Le, as the clown. Higginbotham was a definite 8.5, losing 7.5 for obstructing Mitchell, hopefully unintentionally, not costing Mitch, Deans & the Wallabies the World Cup. Hanson continues to impress & Holmes & Wallace Harrison are as honest as the day. Mackenzie must blood some new props to temporarily stand in for the masters - Slipper & Daley. Neither Nau nor Palu can be seriously considered for the World Cup, as both carry persistent injuries. The modest, head down, bum up, strongman Hanson should be match hardened & ready by then. How cute was Waugh claiming his pack to be the dominant scrum, when Polota-Nau was always the last forward to be dragged up off the ground? Good to see Rod Mc Queen supporting Robbie Deans for the World Cup. Defense is the key. Party tricks are for after the series is done & dusted.

Brown official MOM ... good to see I'm in alignment then! Yes Cummins I forgot, should have got an 8 from me, another strong showing. Wykes is a ball runner who can also play 6 and8. Strong chance that Sharpe, Pocock, MaCalam and Wykes will be in the Wallaby 22. If I was picking the test team for THIS weekend it would be Robinson, TPN, Kepu, Horwill, Sharpe, Higginbotham, Pocock, MaCalam, Genia, Cooper, Ioane, Cooper, AAC, Turner, Beale (if fit, otherwise Gerard) with Moore, Slipper, Wykes, Robinson, Burgess, Giteau and Cummins the bench. Still a long way to go in Super Rugby and I'd imagine and hope Elsom, Simmons, Samo, Hodgson, Barnes, Phipps, Harris, Mortlock and Morahan to push for a place in the 22 ... IF everyone can stay fit.

Cooper scored all the points, didnt miss any tackles. Yes he did kick out on the full and received a negative from me each time.

why would I be sulking, the better team won. The only downer was Mitchells injury and Hickey not resting TPN and Palu for long enough.

Under my system a player that gets sin binned gets 5 negatives against them, that plus his missed tackles means OConnor didnt deserve a lot of points. Sharpe gave away too many penalties, each penalty costs 3 negatives.

Codswallop ... The idea is you put your own scores in rather than whinge about Peterk (whose still sulking about the Tahs loss) scores. Read the instructions.

REBELS (long time ago this game, hard to remember!) Saffy 7.5 (tries hard but not quite test class IMO) Mortlock 7.5 (until he went off injured the Rebs were in the game) TAHS Kepu 8 Robinson 8 Burgess 8 Beale 7.5 Cross 2 N.B. TPN, Kefu and Waugh were all good when they were on but all replaced early and clearly all aren't fully fit, a real pity for the NSW and Australian rugby. REDS Ioane 7.5 Genia 8.5 Higginbotham 8 Horwill 8.5 Simmons 7.5 Greg Holmes 7.5 FORCE O'Conner 8 Dellitt (sp? Anyway thought he's looked good in his 2 games so far - where's he come from?) 8 Sidey 7.5 Shepherd 7.5 Brown 8.5 (My MOM, He always gives 100%, not quite test class but tries his guts out and key in the Force's win) Macalam 7.5 Sharpe 8 Wykes 8 (Genuine test contender or at least World Cup squad member) Cowan 8 (Improved this year)

I think Kingii is unlucky. Made some good one on one tackles and made a couple of big line breaks. Was fighting a wave at times.

Cooper 8.5? How many times did he kick it out on the full? If the Reds had been playing one of the top sides in the competition the Reds would've been eaten alive on the back of that Cooper performance.
