Andrew Wiggins shows off in the NBA Summer League

By The Roar / Editor

Number 1 draft pick, Andrew Wiggins, has been putting his highly touted skills on display in the NBA’s Summer League this week.

In a match against the Philadelphia 76ers, Wiggins blew through the defence with a quick spin, before rising up to complete the play with an effortless two-handed dunk.

With the league’s most sought-after signature, LeBron James, returning home to Cleveland to team up with Wiggins in the 2014-15 season, the prospect of the pairing is fast becoming a terrifying reality for the rest of the league.

With the addition of Wiggins and James to the Cavaliers’ roster, the team will enter next season sporting four number 1 draft picks, after already boasting star point guard Kyrie Irving and power forward Anthony Bennett.

The Cavaliers have quickly shot to favouritism to take out the NBA Championship next season.

but would golden state really trade klay Thompson for love ? klay thompson will demand close to the max when he finishes his rookie contract and he will go into the category of the top 5 shotting guards in the nba . Thompson guards the oppositions best player and he lets curry relax on defence. As point guard being one of the strongest positions in the nba its hard to trade him when your up against the likes of John wall,cp3,damian lillard, russel westrbook ,rondo, irving, derrick rose ,parker and harden every night. We saw in Houston how Patrick beverly started over jermery lin simply because he was getting abused on defence every night from all the top guards

Cleveland have a pretty poor front office. Yes they have Lebron but if they try to get Kevin Love they will have to offer Wiggins, Bennett and another first round pick. If Minnesota get offered this trade, they should take it 100% considering they won't challenge for a title next year. Love does not want to be at the Wolves and would leave the next year anyway and Bennett and Wiggins have both been playing some good ball in the summer league. They also have Zach Lavine who has also been playing well to start.

That play was pretty awesome. Yeah could already be on the move. Interesting by Cleveland, didn't take long to throw Wiggins into the trade. They've got all their cards on the table now. Minnesota now head back to Golden State to ask again for Klay Thompson
