Brisbane’s recent form at the Olympic stadium hasn’t been impressive – failing to notch a victory in three of their previous four visits against all sides.

While they haven’t met the Rabbitohs at Homebush since 2006 – and only twice at all Sydney grounds inside the last decade – it’ll be interesting to see how the Broncos fair this time around.

Coming off a strong last-start showing at home against a struggling Bulldogs outfit, the visitors will be full of confidence as they look the keep their finals hopes alive.

However, while Brisbane met a side on the slide last week, tonight’s task is a whole new proposition.

The Bunnies took a huge step towards ending their 42-year title drought last week, disposing of minor premiership favourites Manly with ease at the SCG on Friday.

The Burgess brothers were out in full force against the Eagles, making way for Adam Reynolds and Luke Keary to weave their magic in the latter stages of their sets.

While Reynolds has found his feet again in recent weeks after a poor start to the year, his opposite number – Ben Hunt – has been in stellar form throughout 2014.

The battle of the halves will largely determine the result of this match. However if Reynolds can again kick well, control the game and distribute early ball to Keary and his fellow outside men, I see a Souths victory.

Souths by 6.

Can the Rabbitohs make it five straight wins or will the Broncos buck their ANZ stadium curse?

Considering they struggled to sell the GF out last year with these 2 teams and one of the teams struggled to get 6 thousand ppl to a game the other night i would highly doubt the accuracy of this claim

Probably not champ, I have a life, don't need to sit here and troll for fun. That you're proud of the fact you do that speaks volume. #anothergreatcomment

Broncos didn't even play that badly. They will smash the Dragons and Knights.

That's Inglis' 10th hat-trick, the 12th player to achieve double figures.

GI is a machine, what does the guy have to do to play fullback for his country.Te'o is the games angriest man, scary ! Souths are on a chicken wing hat-trick.

We have been waiting for this dominant performance from GI all season, what a performance, just outstanding. Long may this form continue for him and the team. Great first half, solid second half overall by the Rabbits. The Broncos dropped a lot of ball but still managed to put together some good passages of play with a couple of nice tries. Souths forwards again very strong, halves were sharp while the rest of the backs all chimed in nicely. I just hope the Bunnies haven't peaked too early.

Just hope Souths fans don't buy up all the Grand Final tickets (again). They will choke in the semis and most Roosters and Manly fans would like the attend the game this year.

I know mate, your pretty fair but a little harsh on JWH at times. What about GI? It's criminal that he isn't the AU fullback. Man i love Thursday night footy(LIVE )in front of the heater.

A very convincing win from the Rabbitohs there. Brisbane looked good at stages but failed to take their limited opportunities and were punished severely. Greg Inglis scored 3 tries and has taken Channel 9's Man of the Match Award. The win sees South Sydney leapfrog Manly into first place on the table. Manly can regain top spot with a win over the Titans on Sunday afternoon but until then South Sydney Fans will enjoy sitting at the top! That's all from me: A very entertaining match and I hope you enjoyed the coverage! Goodnight!
