Manchester United are coming off an impressive 4-0 victory over cellar dwellers QPR, while Leicester CIty are coming off a tight 1-0 victory away to Stoke.

United have won their last nine fixtures against their opponents, while you have to go back to 1998 to find the last Leicester City win – a game in which Tony Cottee scored the only goal to give City a famous victory at Old Trafford.

Esteban Cambiasso could make his first starting appearance for Leicester City in this match, while Kasper Schmeichel could make his return which would see his deputising keeper Ben Hammer return to the bench.

Matt Upson is still out through injury, and former United youth player Matty James could make a recovery from a shin injury and be involved.

LVG can select from an unchanged team from last weekend, although Luke Shaw could make his Manchester United debut, and Chris Smalling is back from injury.

Radamel Falcao will be looking for his first start of the season.

Long term absentees Phil Jones, Michael Carrick, Marouane Fellaini and Ashley Young still remain sidelined.

I only saw the first half but their defence looks decidedly ordinary and Vidal didn't look very good at all, so many pedestrian turnovers.

FT Leicester City - 5 Manchester United - 3 LC played with unbelievable spirit & soul, United were in full charge until Clattenburge made a horrific decision to award LC a pen @ 3-1 when Rafael was shoulder charged by Vardy. That's not too excuse United's capitulation right after... but LC deserved winners. Just wow. They tore United to shreds, incredible, incredible performance. MOTM - Vardy, absolutely excellent & lethal Night All...

Didn't expect much from our defence this season. But I at least thought the midfield would be able to maintain possession well enough to minimise opposition chances. Herrara and Blind disappeared from the game after it was 3-1. Leicester did well to nullify and frustrate Rooney for much of the game.
