As mentioned above, here is my THE GOOD, THE BAD AND THE UGLY for this week. THE GOOD: Another Merseyside derby and another Gerrard goal. Marty might not agree with this pick, but there is no denying that the Liverpool captain seems to step up when Liverpool play Everton. Gerrard is the top scorer in Premier League Merseyside derbies with 9 goals and his strike on the weekend ensured that the Toffees remained winless in 15 league trips to Anfield. THE BAD: That Rooney tackle. Unnecessarily violent and shows that no matter how mature Rooney seems to get, he still has the capacity for the odd brain snap which now means that Manchester United will be without his services for 3 games. The UGLY: A bad day in the office for Manchester City defender Eliaquim Mangala as he conceded a penalty and scored a bullet like header past his own keeper that any centre forward would be proud of.
