Wallabies playmaker Kurtley Beale is facing an ARU integrity unit investigation after an alleged incident on a team flight in South America.
The ARU on Wednesday night said in a statement the matter had been referred to team management and Beale is facing disciplinary action.
The investigation centres around an alleged incident on the Wallabies’ flight from South Africa to Brazil on Sunday.
Beale isn’t being sent home but it’s not immediately known if the 47 Test star will be available for selection for the Wallabies’ Rugby Championship clash with Argentina in Mendoza on Saturday.
The ARU said all parties will be given a chance to present their side of the story.
Team bosses expect to wrap up the investigation by next week.
Beale has a history of off-field incidents.
Last year he was sent home from South Africa following a scuffle with Melbourne Rebels teammates Cooper Vuna and Gareth Delve.
He subsequently checked himself into rehab for alcohol related issues.
During last year’s Wallabies series with the British and Irish Lions, Beale was photographed at a fast food joint in the early hours of the Wednesday before the Melbourne Test.

It's "complicated" because the tamale staff member in the incident is Ewen's current girlfriend!! FACT Word is from the players is that he has her on the staff and it's nit sitting well with them at al.... This has much more to come, mark my words

Would Carney get in to the UK given his crim record? I know he has been refused a UK visa on those grounds.

In what way, Red Kev, are you more "useful" to this "planet" than say, Greg Inglis, Reg Gasnier, Artie Beetson, Israel Folau and sundry other rugby league players? And why doesn't anyone but you know about it?

For a second I thought you were formeropenside. Then I realised he would never say anything like that about a Waratah.

Thank you Kurtley for always providing us with great entertainment. You are a superstar. I feel that he might have had a hand in the following quotes and TV shows: "To Beale? Or not to Beale? That is the question!" "You are the weakest Beale, goodbye." "So what do you say? Beale? or No Beale?" "I've been listening to the Bealetles for half a century!" "Is that Francois Steyn?! It's time for some WWBeale Smackdown!" "Why do you Beale me up? Buttercup baby just to Beale me down?" Horrible I know. But hey I think "To Beale or not to Beale, Beale or No Beale and Why do you Beale me up just to let me down" are probably the questions McKenzie's asking himself right now.

Nastiness? This is minor. And has only about 60% of the comments the three threads on Aaron Cruden got last week, despite this being as posters are told so often 'an Australian forum for Australian rugby and if you don't like it **** off" the obsession with anything AB continues, AC accused of being an alcoholic, followed by a series of jolly funny jokes about his testicular cancer, and the dredging up of any ex-ABs 'history' to prove 'they're all like that' I don't think pathetic even comes close.

What will that achieve? He will most likely be playing against Carter. that will be a good excuse for any pathetic performance. :D

I think Giteau, Hernandez, Armitage, Halfpenny and Michelak are probably more than adequate...

Beale wont stick around. Toulon needs a flyhalf/fullback.

Having read the debate I must agree with Scott Allen, who has rightly dismantled your initial premise, Uncle Argyle, and your subordinate points. Bowled neck and cop. My instinctive reaction when I first read your theory was "Eh, where does that invention come from?" I say it emanates from the cliché "It takes two to tango" and nothing more.
