Something as simple as 'The Roar Football Podcast" should do the trick or if you don't want confusion with the football team "Roar Sports: Football Weekly". Most of us on here still like the EPL but we come here to discuss A-League and a podcast will drive even more conversation. I can't imagine you getting much reaction to EPL discussion. You better hurry up! Leopold Method and Soccer Stoppage Time are growing quickly but neither are as prominent as The Roar.

Change the name its one sighted even if you mean for it not to be ... anything is better ... Ball's n All's Red Card Rant or even just something basic like "A Weekly Football Podcast"

I agree with AZ_RBB. EPL is such a crowded market, even just for podcasts (e.g. Guardian Football Weekly) - I think local fans would be more attracted to something they know has somewhat of a local focus.

Hi AZ_RBB, Thanks for the comment (If people have trouble listening to the episode through the embedded player, here's the direct link https://soundcloud.com/eplextra/episode-11-now-with-100-a-league) It was always the intention to cover all things related to football and since the EPL season runs virtually all year round we figured it would be good to get a football podcast up and running even when the domestic season wasn't on (which due to the long off-season is a large part of the year unfortunately), hence the 'EPL' in the title. Now that the A-League is up and running, we can cover the domestic game as well, hence the 'extra' in the title. We can understand some people might be put off by the name and we are always looking for feedback. If there is an overwhelming reaction to the name, we can consider changing it. Any suggestions? Marko

Really surprised you guys are sticking with the name. For two reasons really. First, it has become very apparent this page is 95% A-League with the odd discussion about EPL. Second, the show is clearly much more than an EPL show. Why sell yourself short?

THE GOOD: When two teams both decide to play football you get an exciting, see-sawing, highly technical and fascinating game. Thanks Adelaide and Brisbane THE BAD: Matt McKay's red card for dissent and abusive language. Passion is an important part of the game but the officials should be respected no matter how wrong you think they are. THE UGLY: Not a fan of the advertising border around the Melbourne Victory's technical area. It just looks odd, like sponsors on collars. Surely there are alternative opportunities for clubs to make a few bucks.
