Scuba Just out of interest the Herbert Power was run in quicker time than the Clfd Cup, Her Pow 2.26.68 Clfd Cup 2.32.12 . Which helped punters with Signoff yesterday ....

it's not done yet ... i'm the eternal optimist ... i want Hughie back on board ... it wasn't silly today ... putting blinkers on him ... wise after the event ... isn't racing just the best ...

Max Brambles can't win from that gate, Ratki and Fawkner are drawn beautifully, I'm a tad concerned over Lucia Valentina's gate she may be forced to go a little more forward than she'd like... ____________ Kv A very disappointing campaign from Criterion does he look for a consolation kill in the Sandown Cup ? ...

my friend ... everyone needs a gallop now and again. just go out and kick your heels out ... i gave Ms Cumani a rap and in her interview with A.Wohler he suggested ... at best he was an each-way chance in the Herbert Power.. We all know what that is speak for ... i posted his OS races ... might be wrong (as usual) but i like this horse = dour and tough ... i liked him before i knew he was nom'd for the cup. Basically i don't give a rats as my fate was settled a couple of weeks ago, :).

KV I'm happy to be convinced, but in the Herbert Power I saw a horse who couldn't beat Big Memory, Let's Make Adeal and Signoff - is that really a Cup trial?

Admire is def the one to beat as only Lucia was the only great run in the Caulf Cup. The additional weight for Admire won't hurt; he was storming on the line...will relish 3200m. Major diff between our top stayer and the rest of the Aussie's which just clog up the field. Please VRC, don't put a cap on internationals.

i'll get around to that on monday but can't see a lot that is going to bother the german horse ... BUT i'm not in a relational experience at the moment .... go the chrome ........ in absence of shared belief .... don't you luv racing ... but there is party happening at the moment and we are listening to Roy Orbison (Black and white) ...

No real spanner in the works here. The top three favourites, Admire Rakti, Lucia Valentina and Signoff have all drawn well. Araldo is a live chance in the eyes of many but he’ll have to contend with the widest barrier. He’s out to $31 after the draw. Sea Moon has drawn the dreaded barrier 18 and judging from his Caulfield Cup run will be one of the pacemakers from that wide draw. As expected Admire Rakti remains the favourite. The question is can Lucia Valentina stay the 3200m and mount a challenge? We’ll find out on Tuesday!
