NSW Waratahs captain Dave Dennis has recommitted to the reigning Super Rugby champions for a further two years.
Retaining the hard-working lock is a big boost for incoming Waratahs coach Daryl Gibson as he works to shore up a roster facing several key departures at the end of this season.
Backline stars Israel Folau and Kurtley Beale are the biggest names yet to commit beyond 2015.
Prop Sekope Kepu, centre Adam Ashley-Cooper and wingers Peter Betham are all leaving to take up deals with overseas clubs.

Good signing, excellent Clubman and a solid leader. I wonder with the dearth of good second rowers around the Country, is he a shot for the Wallabies in the 2 row or at least back up this season ?

Just try applying your foundation without one.

Jack are you a Reds supporter? You don't think that players from other franchises might have a shot ??? Maybe Sio, Hooper, Pocock, Carter, Timani, Palu, Skelton, Jones, Coleman, Robinson, Polata-Nau, McCalman .... just to name a few

Good to see general support for Dennis here rather than the throw-away barbs. I have been critical of his performances in the past but he deserves praise this year as is impact up front has improved. A much better captain than Hoops too.

What a catch. Must have really had to fight off the over seas clubs. Powder puffs are in big demand.

I doubt Dennis will get many test caps, but his re-signing is very important for the Tahs.

Well pjm if I. am simple I can understand the handicap under which you operate. After reading some of your comments I can not help but feel sorry for you. With an IQ like you obviously have life must be tough, but then it does give you some excuse for the tripe you write here.

Dennis won't realistically have a shot at 6 until at least 2017, Fardy re-signed earlier this year for a further 2 years.

He may be considered as a 6 for the Wallabies and if Moore injured even as Captain.Back row of Gill,Higgers and Dennis.Second Row Simmons and Horwill/Skelton,loose Head Slipper and tight head Holmes with Moore as Hooker.

Seeing that everyone else is leaving, he now has a shot at the Wallabies for a couple years.

Good signing. Dennis has gone to another level this year and is providing stable leadership which is what you need in a team full of stars.
