Fremantle claimed their first minor premiership on Sunday with an easy 54-point win over the Melbourne Demons in Nathan Jones’ 200th game.

The Fremantle Dockers can solidify the top spot with a win over the Melbourne Demons when they clash at Domain Stadium. Join The Roar for live scores and commentary from 4:40pm (AEST).
The last time these two teams met, Fremantle were in their best form all year, with the Dockers thumping the Demons by 68 points at the MCG.
The Dockers will be looking for another convincing win, so they can face Port Adelaide next week with a healthy degree of confidence, then launch their finals campaign.
Melbourne have had a tough run this year, currently sitting in 14th spot on the ladder, and are looking to make amends for an upsetting loss against Carlton last week.
Fremantle need to polish their ball use and kick bigger scores. Their midfield will be without Nat Fyfe, which will make it tougher to dominate clearances and allow the forwards to kick goals.
Paul Roos has opted to rest young guns Angus Brayshaw and James Harmes for the trip to Perth. Roos has urged his players to play “angry” against the Dockers. It’s a big game for Max Gawn, as he will be up against experienced, 211cm ruckman Aaron Sandilands.
Fremantle should prove too strong for the young Demons side in Perth, as the Dockers desperately want to keep the top spot.
Fremantle by 44 points.

Freo are in a "no-win" situation when it comes to the critics-------If they won by 1 point they would be "not up to finals". If they win by 54,they are "boring"! Seriously, all AFL teams which are up by a large figure do this "kicking around" stuff---------anything to waste time without being obvious enough to get "pinged" for it!

Yes Most reported team, most injuies, least free kicks and the most hated by the east and AFL!

Agreed, Ross Lyon's gameplan is an abomination.

Don't watch them. Go watch a team that is 1 pt up with 10 minutes to go.

Melbourne what the hell are you doing to our members and sponsors

Honestly, Fremantle are the most boring team in the AFL. Cannot be bothered with teams that are up by 50 with 10 to go kicking it around the backline.
