Match Preview:

The Wests Tigers will be hoping to take the attention away from Robbie Farah’s controversial departure with a victory over the depleted New Zealand Warriors at Campbelltown Stadium. Join The Roar from 1.50pm (AEST) for live scores and coverage.

The announcement of Farah’s departure has firmly signalled the Tigers intent to focus on youth as they look to rebuild in 2016.

On Sunday they face a Warriors side on a six-match losing streak who are missing the likes of Shaun Johnson, Manu Vatuvei, Jacob Lillyman, Chad Townsend and Ben Matulino.

After being on the receiving end of a 34-point hammering by the Cowboys, the Warriors have brought in Matt Allwood to replace Ken Maumalo on the wing.

Sebastine Ikahihifo comes in at prop after Jacob Lilyman’s season ended with a fractured cheekbone last weekend.

The Tigers 17 is unchanged despite a 40-18 defeat to Cronulla.

The Warriors got off to a hot start last week with 16-points in just 13 minutes. However basic errors cost the Warriors as they finished with 11 errors and 10 penalties conceded.

Prediction:
This result may primarily depend on how Farah has been impacted by the news of his release. The competitive spirit needed to win of himself and his close mates at the club may not be at their usual heights this weekend.

The Warriors named their 20th anniversary team this week and it featured five players currently in their team. However with their injury crisis, Mannering is the only one taking part today.

Tigers by 14.

In any case, a compelling game could be on the cards so join The Roar from 1:50 (AEST) to follow our live coverage, and remember to leave your comments as the game progresses.

It's about talent and unfortunatley McFadden has to rely on plently of players that don't have it. Happy to see that many of these players will never be back.

Clinical victory for the Tigers who paid tribute to Farah, Galloway and Richards today with a spirited performance. No one was better than Farah himself who wins the man of the match, after a try and three try assists. Robbie Farah: 'I've been down on confidence all year, and the support I've had this week has been overwhelming, and it was great to get my mojo back today'. 'The crowd gave me goosebumps, and The Tigers fans have been outstanding. It's made a tough week easy to handle.' Tigers 50 Warriors 16

FULL TIME Galloway will attempt the kick on his right, and it lands on the 10m line way out to the left. Worth a crack though! Tigers 50 Warriors 16

FULL TIME TRY Nofaluma looks to have scored in the corner. Tedesco makes another kinking run, finds Naiqama who passes it onto Nofaluma to plant it down. No problems there. Now will Keith Galloway take the conversion!? He will indeed! Tigers 50 Warriors 16

79' Charlie Gubb has done another shoulder charge! What is he thinking? This one on Pat Richards. Richards throws the ball at him in protest, as he's placed on report for the second time. Fair to assume he won't be playing Round 26. Tigers 46 Warriors 16

77' TRY Its Farah again! Big run from Tedesco, palming off a couple of defenders. Farah shows and goes, and looks to have been tackled surely, but no! Farah pulls out an offload out of nowhere to Taupau who runs 10m to score. Richards narrowly converts. Tigers 46 Warriors 16

The Warriors are in a bind as both Luke and RTS have a McFadden clause in their new contract and would be free agents if the coach was sacked before the start of the new season.

66' Galloway has 15 minutes to join Farah and Richards in scoring a try in his final home game. But the Warriors have woken up as Wright breaks free down the right before putting in a chip kick back on the inside, but Moses wins the race to the ball. Tigers 40 Warriors 10
