NSW captain Paul Gallen’s fledgling boxing career has gotten off on the right foot with a big win in Toowoomba.
Gallen picked up a fourth-round TKO victory over Herman Ene-Purcell but didn’t stop there.
He elbowed his own cornerman after the fight just for good measure.

You are 100% spot on. His parasympathetic nervous system would still be in overdrive and someone jumps him from behind! Funny how sensationalised this is! I clicked on it thinking he actually had a go at his corner man! Was it even his corner man though or just part of his team. Still, jumping a boxer from behind after a tough fight you are asking for trouble. I was personally told by Herman he would smash Gallen second time round. Seems not, how about a new opponent?

Could it be that he still had his survival instincts / adrenaline running and didn't know who was grabbing him??? What a beat up! Typical media
